Combination Outflow & Anti-Extravasation Scope Sheath
for Shoulder & Hip Arthroscopy

Another breakthrough in fluid management for percutaneous shoulder and hip arthroscopy, the TwoVu™ EX adds anti-extravasation capabilities to the standard TwoVu's irrigation fluid flow capabilities. This soft polymer, low-profile device slips easily over an arthroscope's own sheath to provide a dedicated outflow channel from the joint space as well as a completely separate anti-extravasation outflow channel. Finally, a simple solution to visibly reducing interstitial shoulder swelling.

• The patent-pending Extravastat anti-extravasation technology is incorporated into the cannula to reduce interstitial swelling at its source, the portal/tissue interface.
• Continuous outflow from joint space via proximal line, plus continuous anti-extravasation outflow via distal line.
• Ensures tissue quality is maintained by preventing interstitial fluid saturation.
• Provides greater pressure control inside the joint throughout the procedure.
• Eliminates having to switch from inflow to outflow on the scope to remove debris and regain image clarity (even with a pump).
• Reduces potential for damaging fluid temperature build-up (above 45°C) in the joint when using radio frequency devices.
• Delivers continuous outflow to manage fluid temperature while maintaining fluid pressure and visual clarity throughout a procedure.
• Insulates the metal scope sheath, preventing interference with RF ablation or thermal remodeling devices, even upon direct contact.
